Crucial Takeaway: For any formal outfit, from a tuxedo to a pinstripe three-piece suit, the texture and finish of your leathers are just as important as the color
WHAT TO LOOK FOR WHEN I WANT A DRESS When buying a dress
For secondhand purchases, request close-up photographs of folds and areas exposed to frequent rubbing. Avoid applying unverified heat to smooth wrinkles or reshape the surface.
Look for side photographs that show the full length transition. Avoid pulling the front downward to adjust the rear length.
Inspect joining points where narrow fabric sections meet larger panels. Consider whether adding an underlayer preserves your preferred overall appearance.
