Frequently Asked Questions for my bridesmaid dress doesn't fit dresses question! : r/wedding 2026/1/5

What should I check before buying a faux-leather skirt?

For secondhand purchases, request close-up photographs of folds and areas exposed to frequent rubbing. Avoid applying unverified heat to smooth wrinkles or reshape the surface.

What should I check when choosing a skirt with a dipped back hem?

Look for side photographs that show the full length transition. Avoid pulling the front downward to adjust the rear length.

What should I consider when choosing a skirt with decorative cutouts?

Inspect joining points where narrow fabric sections meet larger panels. Consider whether adding an underlayer preserves your preferred overall appearance.
